Terms of Service

By accessing or using Proof-of-Skill, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.

Proof-of-Skill is a skills-first hiring protocol that connects verified candidates with employers. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes related to hiring or job seeking. Misuse, including creating fake profiles or manipulating skill verifications, may result in account termination.

Our platform uses AI tools, including Yoshi, to assist with candidate matching, skill assessment, and recommendations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and should not be considered a guarantee of candidate suitability. Final hiring decisions remain the responsibility of the employer.

Candidates must provide truthful information about their skills, experience, and qualifications. Submitting fabricated work samples, using AI to impersonate yourself during assessments, or misrepresenting your identity is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent removal from the network.

Employers must provide accurate job descriptions and hiring requirements. Employers agree not to discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics. All communication with candidates through our platform must be professional and in good faith.

Proof-of-Skill is free for candidates. Employers are charged 5% of the hired candidate's annual CTC per successful hire. There are no upfront fees or retainers. Payment is due upon confirmation of a successful hire through our platform.

All content, branding, and technology on the Proof-of-Skill platform is owned by Proof-of-Skill. Candidates retain ownership of their work samples and portfolio content. By uploading content, you grant us a licence to display it to potential employers for hiring purposes.

Proof-of-Skill provides a matching and verification service but does not guarantee employment outcomes. We are not liable for hiring decisions made by employers or for the performance of hired candidates. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific transaction in question.

Either party may terminate their account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Outstanding fees remain payable upon termination.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.
