ProofOfSkill uses Google OAuth to connect to users' Google Calendar accounts so we can schedule and manage interviews on their behalf. This section describes specifically what Google user data we access, how we use it, store it, and share it.

When you connect your Google Calendar to ProofOfSkill, we request the following OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly — to read your existing calendar events and availability so we can show candidates valid interview time slots that do not conflict with your schedule.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to create, update, and cancel interview events on your calendar when an interview is scheduled, rescheduled, or cancelled through ProofOfSkill.

We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service.

• Reading availability: we read free/busy information from your calendar to display only conflict-free slots to candidates booking interviews.
• Writing events: we create calendar events on your behalf for confirmed interviews. These events include the candidate's name, the role being interviewed for, a video conferencing link, and the agreed time.
• Updating events: if an interview is rescheduled or cancelled, we update or remove the corresponding event on your calendar.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, training machine learning models, or any purpose unrelated to the scheduling feature you have connected.

We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the scheduling functionality, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to affected users.

• OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our database.
• We cache minimal event metadata (event ID, start/end time, busy status) only for the duration needed to render the scheduling UI. We do not store the full content, attendees, or descriptions of events we did not create.
• Events we create on your behalf retain a reference in our system so we can update or cancel them later.

We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose. Google user data is accessed only by the ProofOfSkill application to provide the scheduling feature, and is not shared with any external service.

You can disconnect your Google Calendar from ProofOfSkill at any time from your account settings. On disconnect, we revoke the OAuth token and stop accessing your calendar.

You can also revoke access directly from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google user data is never transmitted to any third-party AI or ML service, is never used to train any AI or ML model, and is not processed by any embedding, summarization, classification, retrieval, or fine-tuning system. We do not use any AI aggregator, gateway, or model hub for any purpose. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to comply with applicable law or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to affected users.

ProofOfSkill's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
