2. Mobile Native Developer (Swift & Kotlin) Full-time · 2–3+ years' experience · [Location] You will build the LMN8 apps on iOS and Android, natively. You'll ship fast, polished experiences that keep user data on the device wherever possible and protect it everywhere else. What you'll do • Build and ship LMN8 features in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android). • Write clean, testable code with modern UI frameworks: SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose. • Implement privacy-first patterns: on-device processing, secure storage (Keychain, Android Keystore), minimal permissions and encrypted sync. • Integrate with our backend APIs and keep apps fast and reliable on poor networks. • Write unit and UI tests, and work closely with QA on release quality. • Profile and fix performance, memory and battery issues. • Own releases through App Store and Google Play, including review guidelines and privacy labels. • Take part in design and code reviews and help shape our mobile architecture. What you'll bring • 2–3+ years building native mobile apps, with production apps shipped to users. • Strong Swift and Kotlin skills; you're comfortable working on both platforms. • Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit, and Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views. • Solid grasp of concurrency (Swift Concurrency, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow). • Understanding of mobile security basics: secure storage, certificate pinning, safe handling of tokens and keys. • Experience with REST or gRPC APIs, offline-first data and local persistence (Core Data/SwiftData, Room). • Git, code review and CI for mobile (Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, GitHub Actions or similar). Nice to have • Experience with end-to-end encryption or cryptography libraries (CryptoKit, Tink, libsodium). • Kotlin Multiplatform or sharing logic across platforms. • Calling Rust from mobile via FFI (UniFFI or similar). • Accessibility and localisation experience. • Apps or open-source work you can show us.
