QA Engineer
About this role
1. QA Engineer Full-time · 2–3+ years' experience · [Location] You will own the quality of LMN8 across web, mobile and backend. You'll design the test strategy, build automation that engineers trust, and make sure every release protects our users' data as carefully as it delivers features. What you'll do • Own test strategy and release quality for LMN8 across web, iOS, Android and APIs. • Build and maintain automated test suites: UI, API, integration and end-to-end. • Run focused manual and exploratory testing where automation adds little value. • Integrate tests into CI/CD so every pull request gets fast, reliable feedback. • Test privacy and security behaviour: permissions, data handling, encryption and consent flows. • Write clear bug reports, track them to resolution, and spot patterns behind recurring issues. • Work with engineers and product early, reviewing specs for testability and edge cases. • Report on quality metrics such as flaky tests, escaped defects and coverage gaps. What you'll bring • 2–3+ years in QA or software testing, including real test automation work. • Hands-on with at least one automation framework (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, XCUITest or Espresso). • Solid API testing skills (Postman, REST clients, or code-based tests). • Scripting ability in one language (TypeScript, Python or similar). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar) and Git. • A sharp eye for edge cases and a habit of asking "what could go wrong here?" • Clear written communication. Nice to have • Mobile testing on real devices and device farms. • Performance or load testing (k6, JMeter, Locust). • Security testing basics: OWASP Top 10, OWASP MASVS for mobile. • Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR or India's DPDP Act. • Exposure to Rust codebases or testing Rust services.
